Location

The Vines Resort & Country Club was first established in two separate developments with the golf course being completed first. The first 27 holes of the golf course were built in 1988. The additional 9 holes, making the Golf Course 36 holes, were established in 1997.Both courses were designed by course architects Graham Marsh and Ross Watson and continually feature in the Top 20 Resort Courses every year. The Novotel Resort was built later in 1996 with the now 103 resort rooms and 54 condominiums along with the restaurants, bars and abundance of resort facilities.

The Vines Resort & Country Club is located within the Swan Valley in Perth Western Australia. The Resort is located approximately 35 mins from the Perth CBD in the tranquil Swan Valley.

Continually rated as one of Australia's best golf resorts (Luxury Travel & Style Magazine - ranked #7 in August - 2008), The Vines is surrounded by native bush with abundant wildlife, lush manicured gardens and the magnificent Swan Valley wine region. Two equally challenging 18 holes golf courses await your arrival. With lush bent grass greens, among the largest in the country, unique bunkering and a beautiful natural layout, you will be tested on every hole whilst also taking time to soak up the surrounds.Together the Ellenbrook and The Lakes layout hosted some of the world's golfing greats including Norman, Player, Els, Langer, Daly, Sorenstam & Campbell during the Heineken Classic 1993 - 2001 & Johnnie Walker Classic 2006 & the LPGA Lexus Cup 2007 plus the recent Johnnie Walker Classic in February 2009.
