For Christmas 2004 we decided to forsake our
glorious harbour and held our Christmas party at the Campari Restaurant,
in the heart of the city at 111 Elizabeth Street - right next to
David Jones.
Though the name suggests an Italian cuisine there was little served.
Although many of our regulars were missing, we still completely
filled the place. This shows that the NSW branch is still very much
alive and kicking. Despite no view and the somewhat noisy venue,
a good time was had by all: as is obvious from the accompanying
photos.
We will certainly consider returning to the harbour this year.
