Introduction
Seven years on and CABS is back!
Once again there will be a Central Australian Basins Symposium held at Alice Springs, NT, to bring industry participants up to date with the latest developments in Central Australia, with papers being accepted covering the Amadeus, Georgina, Perdika, Beetaloo, Wiso, Officer, Warburton, Gallilee, Arckaringa and Eromanga basins in a Central Australian context.
All at the right time of year, (July 16-17 2012), in the pleasant surroundings of the Centre and the McDonnell Ranges.
Authors are submitting extended abstracts (see Instructions to Authors) and it is planned to include papers dealing with conventional and unconventional prospectivity, as well as operational, logistical and infrastructure aspects.
An exhibition will accompany daily sessions over the two days of the Symposium, and post-Symposium features include a golf day or alternatively a five day Amadeus field excursion.
Registrations will be received from early in the new year, with discounts for those registering prior to 31 May 2012.
We look forward to meeting up with you at 'the Alice'.
